Women Compete for the First Time in Qom’s Inaugural Off-Road Championship
For the first time, the multi-disciplinary off-road championship of Qom Province will be held alongside the car, parts, motorcycle, off-road, and auxiliary parts exhibition in the province. This event will take place on Thursday and Friday, the 11th and 12th of Ordibehesht (April 30 and May 1), from 9 AM until sunset, featuring seven classes: Women, Amateur, under 3500 cc, over 3500 cc, UTV, and multi-disciplinary competitions.
The Amateur, Women, Class 1, and Class 2 races will be held on Thursday, while the other classes will compete on Friday.
The participation of women in the first edition of the Qom Province off-road competitions is a notable highlight of this event.
According to one of the event organizers, enthusiasts of the women’s class can expect the competition to start around 11 AM on Thursday.
A total prize fund of 300 million tomans has been allocated for the winners of each class, except the Amateur class. The prizes will be awarded as follows: 25 million tomans for first place, 15 million tomans for second place, and 10 million tomans for third place. Additional prizes include a special award of 60 to 70 million tomans for the winner of the UTV class.
Given the significance of this event, it is expected to attract considerable attention and a large number of visitors.
It is worth mentioning that these competitions are held under the supervision of the National Motorcycling and Automobile Federation.
